MODERN VARIATION

The Scandinavian Defense starts when White plays the kings gambit (e4). Then we offer a trade on (d5). If white accepts the trade (exd5) then we delay capturing the pawn back with the Queen and play (Nf6), putting more pressure on the pawn♟ .
